CLASS D LICENSE (TRUCK DRIVER TRAINING)

Persons with an Ontario Class DZ license are licensed to drive any DZ purpose vehicle and may operate any truck or motor vehicle combination exceeding 11,000 kg. The training provided in our school prepares an individual to pass the Ministry of Transportation Road Test and the Air Brake Endorsement (Z).

An applicant for a class “D” license must:

• Be 18 years of age.
• Hold a valid Ontario Class “G” license.
• Complete MTO Medical done by doctor. Student may get the medical form either from the school or the MTO as it may not be available with the Doctor. (Specific form designed by the Ministry)
• Pass the applicable knowledge test.
